Petro Kholodny uses a Christmas carol about a girl and a peahen as subject for his picture. A green glade, a Ukrainian girl and an exotic peacock are united by the rhythm of tender lines and forms. The exhibition KIEV with 50 works from the National Art Museum of Ukraine openeded today, still on display thru 9 July 2006 in Amsterdam, Nieuwe Kerk.
